SUMMARY:Drew's Hope Spring 2019 Grief Support Program
DESCRIPTION:Drew's Hope is a free seven session grief support program for children & teens and their families who are grieving the death of a loved one. Pre-registration is required. Applications are available by contacting the DMTF at 717-532-8922 or drewmichaeltaylor@pa.net. The program is provided by the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation of Shippensburg\, PA\, in conjunction with the SU Counseling Dept. The program is held at the Grace B. Luhrs University Elementary School at Shippensburg University. Dinner is served from 6-6:30\, followed by separate support groups for children\, teens and adults from 6:30-8 p.m. *Please note that there is no counseling offered through this program. Drew's Hope is a peer led grief support program\, which features activities\, education and discussion\, in order to develop positive coping skills on the grief journey while in the company of fellow grievers and trained group facilitators and grief buddies.
