Learn about beads, where they started, how to make them of various materials, and work them into finished projects using string and other fibers. We will make beads from polymer clay, paper, and other materials and then use them to make belts, bracelets or necklaces. Additional projects include using the beads on picture frames, small hand made bags, and a pencil jar. Macrame, weaving, braiding, kumihimo, lucet, and other methods of connecting will be used to complete projects. Ages: 8-12. Instructor: Linda Singley
