Brew Science Speaker Series

Join us in Old Main Chapel for our first Brewing Science Speaker Series with Dr. Alison Feeney! Pennsylvanians have enjoyed a long, rich love affair with beer. Craft beer creates a $7 billion economic impact on the state, and Pennsylvania now leads the nation in the production of barrels produced. Feeney will discuss which brewers use local hops, fruits, and grains in their recipes and how their proceeds support neighboring rail trails, waterways, animal shelters, and community events.
