Carlisle Downtown Mile

The 8th Annual Carlisle Downtown Mile will be held on Thursday evening, May 16th. The race benefits the adult education and training programs at Employment Skills Center. The race is a straight 1 mile run down High Street ending in the heart of downtown Carlisle. The fun begins with a mascot race at 6:15 followed by a fun run/walk at 6:30pm. Next are the age group competitive races ending with the Team Challenge at 7:10 which includes the categories: Education, Corporate, Non-Profit/Government, Healthcare, Friends & Family and Serve & Protect. Post race there is a Kid's Alley with many fun games and activities and a Beer Garden for those participants 21 and over featuring 5 local breweries. The evening is capped off with the awards ceremony and raffle prizes. Don't miss out on the fun.
