Colonial Walking Tour - Civic Club of Shippensburg

Starting on July 18th Beau Zack will be giving tours Wednesdays starting at 2pm. Wednesdays will be the Colonial Tour which will start at the old courthouse (Widow Piper's Tavern across from the Sheetz on King Street). The walking tour will take about an hour, so bringing a water bottle is recommended for hot days. Tours will operate without delay weather permitting. The tour will be every Wednesday until August 1st. Walk around and learn about Shippenburg's intricate colonial history dealing with Native American tribes, James Burd, Edward Shippen, and other historic local landmarks featuring the new Fort Morris plaque. Come down and see for yourself the rich colonial history of the area!
