Easter Hound Hunt

The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter will hold their fifth annual Easter Hound Hunt. Registration will be at 1 p.m. or prior to the event at cvas-pets.org. Thousands of plastic Easter eggs will be stuffed with dog treats and participants are asked to bring their dogs for the hunt. Specially marked eggs can be redeemed for prizes. Cost for participation is a minimum $5 donation to the shelter. Pastor Ruth Smith from Trinity Lutheran Church will be on hand for a Blessing of the Animals. Following the hunt, the shelter will hold an Easter bonnet contest. Prizes will be awarded in each category. Easter photos will also be taken by donation.
