Are you a senior planning on going to college next year? Are you a parent of a senior who is planning on attending college? Are you wondering how you're going to pay for that? Do you want some help?
Join the SASHS Guidance team and PA Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) in the library tonight to get help with filing your FAFSA!
What is the FAFSA?
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is the main way to qualify for financial aid from the federal government (grants, work-study, and loans).
Who should file?
Everyone who plans to go to college should submit a FAFSA, whether or not you plan to accept the aid offered to you (you don't have to accept anything you don't want to)
What do I need to file?
The FAFSA will ask for info about you (SSN, name, birthdate, address, etc) and your family's financial situation. You will need your family's tax information for the Prior-prior year (If you are filing the 2019-2020 FAFSA you will need 2017 tax info)
*******You will also need your child's login information for the library computers or their student ID #*******
