Frontier Beer, Tavern Games and Bread

Learn about the history of beer on the frontier during the King Street Stroll sponsored by D.O.I.T., the Cumberland Shop, Shippensburg Fairgrounds and the SHC. Sample some of the beers during the 1700s including Spruce, Porter and Ale. Play some tavern games and learn how bread was made during the 1700s. Our interpretative staff are RAMP certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania! This event is in conjunction with the King Street Stroll event which is hosted by D.O.I.T.
