Frontier Beer, Tea, Tavern Games and Bread

During the King Street Stroll by D.O.I.T., the SHC will be participating in this event. Learn about the history of beer on the frontier and sample some of the beer types that were around during the 1700s including Porter and Ale. Play some tavern games and learn how bread was made during the 1700s. For those under the age of 21, we'll have some of the famous types of tea during the time period. Our interpretative staff and staffers are RAMP certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania!
