Grief, Loss & Addiction

A workshop on the experience of bereavement in individuals and families faced with addiction and the unique challenges endured by survivors of overdose. This workshop is designed and led by students from Shippensburg University's clinical mental health counseling graduate program. Topics include: Tasks and stages of grief, Overdose, Emotions common to grief and addiction, Complicated grief and what it looks like, Life in transition, and Establishing a lasting connection.
