GriefKnits Support Group

GriefKnits is an arts/crafts-based grief support group for adults who are grieving the death of a loved one. The group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Drew's Hope Grief Center, 946 Ashton Dr., Shippensburg, PA.

Pre-registration is requested by emailing the DMTF at drewmichaeltaylor@pa.net. This is especially important because we might need to cancel the group due to weather or Covid and if we move to Zoom, we want to be able to notify everyone. Due to ongoing Covid concerns, we do ask that all participants properly wear masks.
We will distance as much as possible.

Group description - Knitting has shown positive mental health benefits for grievers. Come and meet others who are grieving the death of a loved one and learn to knit or bring another craft project of your choice! Any arts/crafts that offer a positive mindset can be helpful to a griever, especially when gathering with other grievers for fellowship and support.
