January Open Mic and Potluck - The Thought Lot

We're here once again with our (usually) monthly open mic, this time, new and improved and entirely unchanged, to welcome you back to the Thought Lot for 2018!

Same rules apply this time around, sound prep and sign ups start at 6PM as before, and the night's entertainment commences at 7PM. Share your music, poetry, comedy, etc. but please be aware of our time limit:

8 or fewer signups - 15 minutes per act
More than 8 signups - 10 minutes per act
We will make list checks between each act. If performances start and there are fewer than 8, but we end up with more as the night goes on, we will make an announcement that following acts would be shortened. More reason to get on the list early, and make it count!

Limits are subject to modification upon a lower performer turnout (we'll be pretty lenient if there's, say, 5 or fewer signups.)

As always, it's free admission, and all are welcome (acoustic is preferred however, we'd like to keep it simple.) Please mind your audience. And feel free to bring food and drinks to share, and we'll see you there!
