Lurgan Lions Club Community Day

The Lurgan Township 'Roxbury" Lions Club in Roxbury will be celebrating our 60th year of service to the community on Saturday May 11 from 9am - 2pm. Pleasant Hall Fire and Ambulance Companies will be on site with apparatus on display. WellSpan will be doing free diabetic screenings and the Lions Club will be doing hearing and vision screenings. We will also have information on Lyme Disease available by Harold Cohick. Bounce House available for the children along with information on the relocation and upgrade of our playground. At 12 noon, we will have a dedication and memorial program to honor Charter Member Jake Corwell with the dedication of our baseball and softball fields. Something for everyone and we will have our fair food menu available for sale. Also we will have information on joining our Lions Club organization for anyone that might be interested in joining a great community service organization.
