Newburg Borough Memorial Day Celebration

The Newburg Memorial Day Committee extends an invitation for the public to participate in its 95th annual Memorial Day Celebration.
The Observance will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025.

• The day will start with a service on the green at 10:45 am with guest speaker Kirby Keefer - Retired VP of Emmitsburg Fire Academy.
• A small memorial service will take place at 1:15pm at the First Church of God Cemetery on Exchange Street ending with a 21-gun salute.

The parade will start promptly at 2pm with parade Marshall Joann Sprecher. A 21-gun salute will take place at the Monument on the green at the completion of the parade. In the event of inclement weather the parade will be canceled and service held at Newburg United Methodist Church. No Parking Signs will be posted on the Parade Route.

Blissfully Brewed Cafe LLC and Redneck Dogs Food Trailer will be on site!
