Open Mic (and Potluck) at The Thought Lot

You're all invited to our conveniently timed Post-Valentine's Open Mic! Make it an easy date night and let them hear those day late love songs you've been *ahem* practicing. Show another side of you and recite some poetry! Been thinking about that public proposal, but don't want a huge crowd in case they say "can we talk about this privately?" Well... that's your call (not recommended). Or maybe the day before doesn't hold a lot of significance for you so... anyway here's Wonderwall.

Sound prep and sign ups start at 6PM as before, and the night's entertainment commences at 7PM. Share your music, poetry, comedy, etc. but please be aware of our time limit:

8 or fewer signups - 15 minutes per act
More than 8 signups - 10 minutes per act
We will make list checks between each act. If performances start and there are fewer than 8, but we end up with more as the night goes on, we will make an announcement that following acts would be shortened. More reason to get on the list early, and make it count!

Limits are subject to modification upon a lower performer turnout (we'll be pretty lenient if there's, say, 5 or fewer signups.)

As always, it's free admission, and all are welcome (acoustic is preferred however, we'd like to keep it simple.) Please mind your audience. And feel free to bring food and drinks to share, and we'll see you there!
