Open Mic (and Potluck) at The Thought Lot

We apologize for the delay on this event, but we ARE having a May open mic. As you might notice, this is the 4th Thursday instead of the 3rd, and it will be the LAST ONE of the 2018 Spring Season

Sound prep and sign ups start at 6PM as before, and the night's entertainment commences at 7PM. Despite our listed category, please keep in mind that we welcome more than just music. 

8 or fewer signups - 15 minutes per act
More than 8 signups - 10 minutes per act
We will make list checks between each act. If performances start and there are fewer than 8, but we end up with more as the night goes on, we will make an announcement that following acts would be shortened. More reason to get on the list early, and make it count!

Limits are subject to modification upon a lower performer turnout We'll be pretty lenient if there's, say, 5 or fewer signups, but if it's anything like last month, we'll be forced to be a little more strict to maintain efficiency (sorry!)

As always, it's free admission, and all are welcome (acoustic is preferred however, we'd like to keep it simple.) Feel free to bring food and drinks to share, and we'll see you there!

Please note: We actively welcome anyone, to the stage or audience, who chooses to join us for our open mic nights. Our groups tend to vary in age range, culture, beliefs, etc. We would hope that with that in mind, you choose or approach material you share with some discretion in regard to language and content.
