PA's Hidden Treasures: Vernal Ponds
Come spend the evening on Tuesday, March 26th from 6:30-7:30 pm with Dr. Tim Maret, an ecologist at Shippensburg University, to learn in-depth all about vernal ponds and the critters that live in these incredible habitats.

- Vernal ponds, large "puddles" scattered throughout the woods of Pennsylvania, support an amazing diversity of living organisms. As the ice and snow begin melting in the spring, vernal ponds quickly come to life. In the few short months before they dry in the summer, these ponds are a constant hub of activity.
