Shippensburg Area Civil War Roundtable Monthly Meeting

Shippensburg Area Civil War Round Table will meet Tuesday, October 20, at 7 PM in the basement of Christ United Methodist Church, 47 East King Street, Shippensburg.

Author Scott Mingus of York PA will present a PowerPoint talk on "Anderson's Division at Gettysburg." This presentation focuses on the fighting on the late afternoon of July 2, 1863, at Gettysburg, from the Peach Orchard north to the Bliss Farm, with an emphasis on the perceived poor tactical leadership that day by General Richard Anderson and his division.
