Full job description

This is a great opportunity to work in the behavioral healthcare field. The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a registered nurse. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and activities of daily living. This position is full-time with every other weekend rotation. Our MHTs work 12-hour shifts - 6:30am - 7:00pm or 6:30pm - 7:00am.

This position also qualifies for our $2000 sign-on bonus!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors unite milieu and maintains a safe therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Completes patient observation rounds timely, and accurately
  • Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly

Mental Health Tech Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a psychology-related field is highly preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Drivers License with safe driving record
