Position Overview:

The Shippensburg Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. We are seeking motivated individuals dedicated to protecting and serving our community with integrity and professionalism.

• Salary Increase After 1 Year: $55,547.38

Career Opportunities:

Officers with the Shippensburg Police Department may pursue specialized assignments, including:

• Bicycle Patrol

• Special Response Team

• Detective Division

• Corporal

• Canine Unit

• Community Policing

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet all eligibility requirements under Pennsylvania law

• Must pass physical fitness, written, and oral examinations

• Valid driver's license

• U.S. Citizenship
