The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Cumberland County is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housing Representative to join our Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program team. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of HCV participants, ensuring compliance with HUD regulations.
• Conduct eligibility interviews, annual and interim re-certifications, and rent calculations.
• Work directly with tenants and landlords to facilitate lease-ups, resolve concerns, and ensure program understanding.
• Review and process Requests for Tenancy Approval (RFTA), leases, and Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) contracts.
• Maintain accurate and timely records using housing software (e.g., Tenmast).
• Educate clients and landlords on their rights, responsibilities, and program guidelines.
• Support fraud prevention and ensure regulatory compliance in all interactions.
• Perform technical and administrative work of a moderately complex nature related to county-wide rental assistance programs

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in housing programs, case management, or similar roles required. HCV program experience is a plus

Skills:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations
• Computer proficiency (MS Office, housing systems)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
