Full job description

Summary: Prepares and operates digital printing press by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

· Verifies size, color, and type of substrate and color of ink from job order.

· Checks for quality standards continuously.

· Loads substrate into feeder.

· Operates two computers in order to run digital printer.

· Is familiar with Xmpie program in order to run some orders.

· Communicates with vendors and technicians on supply orders and repairs

· Follows all safety procedural guidelines.

Essential Duties for Toner Printer include the following:

· Adjusts feed guides, grippers, and elevator, or hand-feeding press.

· Starts press and prints a quality proof

· Examines proof to determine off-level areas, variation in ink volume, register slippage, indications of offsetting, and color register.

· Adjusts press controls and automatic feeders.

· Runs samples for art department as well as the Sales department.

Essential Duties for Wide format Printer include the following:

· Cleans ink heads with solvent.

· Adjusts controls to regulate volume of ink.

· Registers print quality.

· Creates print layups for certain jobs

Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
