Overview of Responsibilities -

Prepares and presents quality food resulting in an excellent dining experience for customers.  Consistently adheres to all Company service and operating standards.

Essential Job Duties -

  • Know all menu items and recipes for assigned location.
  • Prepares food products accurately in accordance with established recipes.
  • Be aware of all “specials” and prepare accordingly.
  • Able to read and convert recipes as needed for production requirements.
  • Where necessary, serve Guests from behind the serving line.
  • Monitor serving lines and replenish food items as required.
  • Understands all applicable sanitation and safety rules and regulations, and performs in accordance with all regulations according to Company, state and federal guidelines.
  • Cleans and maintains work area consistently.
  • Ensures all food portions served are in line with recipes and budget guidelines.
  • Handles and stores food products safely and carefully to ensure a high degree of sanitation, and a low incidence of waste.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications -

  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  2. Must be polite, courteous, and willing to pitch in and help others as directed.
  3. Must be capable of standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting, and using tools that require tight gripping during a full 8 hour shift.
  4. Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.
  5. Must be able to comprehend spoken English and read recipes that are printed in English.
